Raytheon Awarded U.S. Navy Field Service Engineering Contract for Combat and C4ISR Systems Potentially Worth $378 Million

    RESTON, Va., June 7  /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company
LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has been awarded a
10-year, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with
a potential value to Raytheon of $378 million, including options, by the U.S.
Navy Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Va.

    The contract calls for RTSC to provide command, control, communications,
computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) and combat
systems field service engineering in support of the Fleet Technical Support
Center Atlantic (FTSCLANT).

    Under the contract, RTSC will provide engineering, technical and logistics
services to FTSCLANT Combat Systems Department to support its role as the
combat and C4ISR System Field Service Engineering agent for the U.S. Navy's
Atlantic Fleet.  RTSC will provide assessment and maintenance of shipboard
systems and equipment, training in maintenance/overhaul processes, data
analysis and reliability engineering, original equipment manufacturer / design
agent technical support, integrated logistic support (ILS), shipboard
alterations (SHIPALTS), ordnance alterations (ORDALTS), alteration
installation team (AIT), engineering changes (ECs) support, field changes
(FCs) support, pierside refurbishment support, Shore Intermediate Maintenance
Activity (SIMA) support, system/equipment overhaul/repair, emergent/casualty
repair support, and support to Regional Support Groups (RSGs), Regional
Maintenance Centers (RMCs) and Type Commanders (TYCOMs.)

    Work is expected to extend through June 2014 and will be performed in
Hampton Roads, Va., and onboard U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift
Command and Foreign Military Sales ships and at various government and
commercial ports of call both inside and outside the continental United
States.

Weapons Systems, NATO SEASPARROW Missile Systems, Ship Self Defense System MK
1 & 2, Search Radars, Target Acquisition System, Cooperative Engagement
Capability, Advanced Combat Direction System, AN/SLQ-32, Re-architecture NATO
Sea Sparrow Missile Systems, Rolling Airframe Missile System, and Evolved Sea
Sparrow Missile.
