Raytheon awarded $26.9 million Department of Defense training development task order

Providing customized course software, maintenance and design

DULLES, Va., Dec. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) was awarded a Defense Acquisition University (DAU) task order contract to develop training material. The task order was awarded on the Alliant indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract and has a one-year base and three option years. The DAU task order contract is valued at $26.9 million if all options are exercised.

Under this contract, Raytheon will also support the analysis, design and production of custom course software and maintenance of courseware consistent with DAU standards and guidelines. The contract was awarded Sept. 20, 2013, and with option periods, will end Sept. 19, 2017.
