Poland's PIT-RADWAR signs Letter of Intent with Raytheon

Companies explore cooperation on development and production of radar, command & control, and missile technology

TEWKSBURY, Mass., Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) signed a Letter of Intent with Poland's PIT-RADWAR to cooperate in mutually beneficial business opportunities related to Poland's air defense architecture, as well as significant exports to global markets. The companies will examine areas for partnership in the following categories:

  • Radar equipment and subsystems design, fabrication and integration including:
    • Electronic component design and production
    • Radar systems and software
    • Verification, validation and testing (VVT)
  • Low-Cost Interceptor
  • Common C2 equipment, subsystems and software:
    • C2 software and hardware integration
    • Design and VVT of Battle Management software modules
    • Software and hardware in the loop laboratory.
  • Mission Planning architecture, simulation and software
  • Systems Level Integration, Verification and Validation Testing.
Mike Shaughnessy, Vice President of Supply Chain, Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems and Jerzy Milosz, Member of Board and Director of R&D, PIT-RADWAR sign a letter of intent to explore further partnership opportunities.
