Raytheon Engineers Recognized by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Information Assurance Services Engineers Receive Meritorious Unit Citation Award

RESTON, Va., April 17, 2007 /PRNewswire/ -- Eight Raytheon Company (RTN: NYSE) engineers on the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Information Assurances Services (IAS) program were recognized with the NGA Meritorious Unit Citation Award. The recognition occurred as part of the Computer Network Defense Service Provider Team at the NGA 2007 Director's Recognition Ceremony.

As a result of sustained performance by IAS team members, NGA has received the first accreditation of its Computer Network Defense operations from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and U.S. Strategic Command. "This is a great honor for Raytheon and the NGA, even more for the men and women on the information assurance team," said McClellan "Guy" DuBois, vice president of Operational & Technologies Systems for Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) business.

The IAS program is the Information Security Management service provider for the NGS's Mission Assurance Office. IAS ensures the successful delivery of NGA GeoInt products to the intelligence community and combatant commanders by providing security management of NGA systems.

Raytheon was originally awarded the IAS contract in October 2005.
