RESTON, Va., Feb. 8, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has signed a teaming agreement with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to pursue the Federal Aviation Administration's Air Traffic Control Optimum Training Solution (ATCOTS) program.

ATCOTS is the FAA's program to procure a performance-based solution for training of new and current air traffic controllers. "Together with Booz Allen Hamilton, and now SAIC, our capabilities will allow us to provide the FAA with the best value solutions to achieve its training objectives."

"SAIC and Raytheon will use an approach to training, based on the prior success and strengths of both companies, that provides an innovative solution for the FAA NextGen initiative," said Chuck Zang, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
