Raytheon to Continue Providing Information Technology Solutions Through GSA Alliant Contract

Company one of 59 awardees vying for orders under contract valued at $50 billion during next 10 years

RESTON, Va., April 3, 2009 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company has been selected to continue providing enhanced information technology solutions and services through the new U.S. General Services Administration Alliant multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity acquisition contract.

Under Alliant, Raytheon will provide infrastructure, application services and information technology management services. The Alliant contract, originally awarded in August 2007, validates Raytheon's position as a premier provider of IT services to federal agencies. The GSA made 59 awards March 27 under the Alliant government-wide acquisition contract.

The Alliant contract will be managed through the Raytheon IDIQ Service Center to ensure that it is optimized across the company.
