Field Operations supports RTSC's external operations, training and logistics and Global Security Solutions programs and provides support to major programs in every Raytheon business.

"This is a huge achievement that shows RTSC's commitment to providing outstanding service to our customers," said Fred Darlington, RTSC vice president of engineering, technology and field operations. "CMMI maturity levels are increasingly used by government agencies and contractors to evaluate the potential for organizations to deliver the right service, at the right time, and for the right cost. This rating strengthens RTSC's competitive position in the service industry."

CMMI is a process improvement approach developed by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
