Raytheon Receives Industry Award from Air Traffic Control Association

WASHINGTON, Nov. 15, 2006 /PRNewswire/ -- The Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) awarded Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) the ATCA 2006 Industrial Award at the association's 51st annual conference and exposition, Oct. 31. The award recognized Raytheon for contributions to modern, highly reliable and cost-effective air traffic solutions around the world.

"The Raytheon Company Airspace Management and Homeland Security team of 1,900 employees has been consistently meeting or exceeding customer goals in ensuring integrated communication, navigation, surveillance and air traffic management solutions for civil and military air traffic service providers in more than 45 countries," ATCA stated in the award citation.
