HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company's (NYSE: RTN) Missile Systems business received the Manufacturer of the Year award from the Business Council of Alabama during a ceremony in Montgomery.  The award recognizes the Raytheon Redstone Missile Integration Facility for manufacturing excellence.

At the cutting-edge factory located on the U.S. Army's Redstone Arsenal, technicians complete final assembly and testing of Standard Missile-3 and SM-6 interceptors.  The missiles move inside the facility on special vehicles. These laser-guided transports handle all hardware moves necessary, allowing technicians to concentrate on other aspects of production.
