Call for Nominations: Raytheon to award grants in support of STEM education excellence
MathMovesU award and grant programs recognize educators for innovative teaching methods
WALTHAM, Mass., March 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) will recognize middle and high school math and science teachers across the country for their commitment to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education through grants to support their work in the classroom.
Raytheon's MathMovesU® program invites members of the community to recognize inspirational math and science teachers and coaches for their dedication to improving education with a MathMovesU Math Hero Award. The annual award's call for nominations is open through April 30, 2015. From the pool of nominees, Raytheon will honor up to 30 professionals with awards of $2,500 each, along with a matching grant of $2,500 for each of their schools.
