Alan Davis appointed chief executive of Raytheon Emirates

Davis replaces John Brauneis, retired after 32 years with the company

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates, (July 11, 2018) – Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has appointed Alan Davis as chief executive of Raytheon Emirates, which is based in Abu Dhabi. Previously the chief operating officer for the Raytheon wholly-owned subsidiary, Davis will be responsible for driving business localization and growth strategy and will report directly to Taylor W. Lawrence, president, Raytheon Missile Systems.

“Alan has a proven leadership track record, having successfully led international and complex programs,” Lawrence said. “He is responsible for leading the Raytheon Emirates team and taking the UAE landed company beyond establishment towards future business growth.”

Davis replaces John Brauneis, who recently retired after 32 years with the company.

Recently named to the board of the Abu Dhabi American Chamber of Commerce, Davis has been with Raytheon since 1985 and has held numerous positions of increased responsibility over his career. He has 30 plus years of industry experience with over 25 in program management. Davis has spent a considerable amount of his career managing international programs for both air force and navy customers, including leadership of the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) program, which is deployed by the UAE.

Raytheon Emirates recently announced a long-term lease with Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala) for its new UAE headquarters in Al Maqam Tower at Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, which it expects to occupy at the end of the year.
