MathMovesU scholarship a bonus to students
WALTHAM, Mass., May 19, 2009 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has awarded MathMovesU Bonus Award scholarships to 30 high school seniors and college undergraduates who are pursuing majors in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields.
The recipients were chosen from a pool of 900 students who previously won a $1,000 Raytheon MathMovesU Middle School Scholarship. Each MathMovesU Bonus Award winner will receive a $20,000 scholarship, representing an additional investment of $600,000 by Raytheon.
