Baumgarten Named Deputy General Manager at Raytheon Technical Services Company

    RESTON, Va., Feb. 10, 2005  /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company has appointed
Sue Baumgarten to the position of deputy general manager at Raytheon Technical
Services Company LLC (RTSC) in Reston, Va.

    Reporting to RTSC President Bryan J. Even, Baumgarten will focus on RTSC's
growth strategy development and implementation; mission support; business
development; and development of solution sets.

    Prior to being named president of Raytheon International, Inc. in the fall
of 2002, Baumgarten was vice president, Strategy and Business Development for
the former Raytheon Electronic Systems business in El Segundo, Calif.  She
previously led Raytheon's Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems as Vice
President.  Baumgarten has more than 30 years experience in system
engineering, business development, and business unit leadership at Raytheon
and the former Hughes Aircraft Company.

    Baumgarten received a bachelor's degree in math/biochemistry, a master's
degree in electrical engineering, and an MBA in finance/marketing -- all from
UCLA.  She was a Hughes Fellow and received the UCLA Anderson School's Carter
Award.
