U.S. Marine Corps Awards Raytheon $49.8 Million

RESTON, Va., Oct. 20, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has received a $49.8 million contract to re-manufacture, overhaul and repair equipment primarily for the U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) in Albany, Ga. Additional work will be performed in MCLC, Barstow, Calif.; Camp Pendleton, Calif.; Camp Lejeune, N.C.; and Okinawa, Japan.

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is a re-compete of the Secondary Reparables, or SECREPS, program. Raytheon was the incumbent. The new contract, with one base year and four one-year options, began Oct. 1, 2010, and ends Sept. 30, 2015, if all options are exercised. The base-year value is $49.8 million, and the contract ceiling value with options exercised is $249 million.
