TEWKSBURY, Mass., Nov. 1, 2010  /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has been awarded a $3.3 million contract modification to develop and install a sensor tracking correlation system that will provide improved intelligence and information sharing to the Joint Interagency Task Force South.

Raytheon will provide JIATF South with a track correlation system consisting of a multisensor correlation, intelligence fusion, and information-sharing capability as part of the Joint Operations Center modernization project known as JOC 2010.

The original contract, awarded by the Department of Defense's Counter-Narcoterrorism Program Office, included a base and two options, valued at nearly $4.8 million.
