Raytheon Missile Systems President Addresses International Education Conference
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company's (NYSE: RTN) Missile Systems President Dr. Taylor W. Lawrence delivered the opening address on the third day of the Education Without Borders conference in Dubai. The biennial international student conference creates networks across cultures to find solutions to some of the world's greatest problems.

Speaking to more than 700 students at Dubai Men's College, Lawrence described how breakthroughs in the aerospace industry have led to widely used commercial products such as microwave ovens and cellular phones. He encouraged the students to stay focused, work hard and follow their dreams.

This year's Education Without Borders conference attracted nearly 1,000 students from more than 120 countries.
