Raytheon Awarded General Services Administration FirstGov.gov Task Order
RESTON, Va., May 30, 2006 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Systems Integration and Management Center and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) have awarded Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) the FirstGov Web Solutions task order to provide new hosting and professional services solutions to FirstGov Portal and other government Web sites.
The task order awarded under the GSA's Millennia Government-Wide Acquisition Contract to the GSA Office of Citizen Services and Communications (OCSC) has a potential value of up to $71 million for a one-year term and four renewal years.
Under the terms of the agreement, Raytheon Information Solutions (RIS) will lead a team that will provide technical support, Web hosting, disaster recovery, application development and content delivery services for FirstGov (The U.S. Government's Official Web Portal) and other federal government Web sites.
