Raytheon Selected by the Department of Homeland Security to Provide IT Services Under EAGLE Acquisition Program
RESTON, Va., July 5, 2006 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide IT services to DHS under EAGLE, the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge solutions.
This contract will enable DHS's 22 agencies to more efficiently procure IT support and leverage their collective buying power. The EAGLE program will run for five years with two one-year renewal options and a total ceiling of up to $45 billion.
Raytheon Information Solutions (RIS) will lead the Raytheon team pursuits as prime contractor on task orders within three categories: infrastructure engineering design, development, implementation and integration; software development; and management support services.
