Raytheon Supports Victims of Hurricane Charley
WALTHAM, Mass., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company will donate $25,000 to the American Red Cross to assist the victims of Hurricane Charley. The relief fund will be in addition to Raytheon's million dollar commitment to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Giving Program (ADGP). "We are pleased that our newest contribution will help the Red Cross provide direct assistance to the victims of Hurricane Charley," she added. Raytheon has 2,456 employees in Florida. Under the existing million dollar, multi-year commitment to the American Red Cross, Raytheon provides $200,000 annually to the ADGP, a program that was proactively formed to minimize the effects of sudden catastrophes.
