Raytheon to Provide Counter-Narcoterrorism Programs and Operations Support
RESTON, Va., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) LLC, a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has been awarded a five-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract to support the Department of Defense's counter-narcoterrorism activities. This multiple contractor award has an estimated ceiling value of $15 billion.
The scope of work across all task orders is to provide equipment, material and services to the DOD's Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO). Work began Aug. 24 and will end Aug. 23, 2012. Under the terms of the contract, RTSC may provide support to CNTPO in three areas: technology development and application; training, operations and logistics support; and professional and executive support. CNTPO is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va.
RTSC will lead a team that includes EG&G, a division of URS Corporation; Science Applications International Corporation, Battelle, and others. The team will offer the CNTPO a comprehensive capability to produce innovative solutions, provide responsive support and experienced management committed to the CNTPO mission worldwide.
