Raytheon Elects Michael M. Hoeffler A Company Officer
WALTHAM, Mass., March 27, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company's (NYSE: RTN) Board of Directors has elected Michael M. Hoeffler a company officer. He is vice president of the Raytheon Company Evaluation Team (RCET).
As vice president of the RCET, Hoeffler is responsible for conducting independent evaluations on a wide variety of critical issues and programs, helping the RCET team disseminate best practices and drive process improvements across the company. He was named to lead the RCET in February 2008, reporting to Raytheon Chairman and CEO William H. Swanson.
Hoeffler joined Raytheon as an engineer in 1969 and has assumed positions of increasing responsibility, including management of the DDG 1000 Zumwalt Class Destroyer program, and vice president of Raytheon's worldwide air traffic management business.
