Thales-Raytheon Systems Leads Industry Team to Respond to U.S. Marine Corps' CAC2S Program Proposal

FULLERTON, Calif., Sept. 28, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Thales-Raytheon Systems Co. LLC, a U.S. company, is leading a team of industry experts to respond to the United States Marine Corps' Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) request for proposal. Thales-Raytheon Systems has provided specialized command and control systems for more than 45 years.

"Our solution for the Marines will provide mature components and technology that assures reliability and low risk," said Kim Kerry, chief executive officer, Thales-Raytheon Systems Co. LLC. "Thales-Raytheon Systems has command and control programs around the world. There is no match for our operationally proven results."

Currently, Thales-Raytheon Systems provides the U.S. Air Force with the Battle Control System, the command and control system for the North American Aerospace Defense Command. BCS is the NORAD system of record.

Thales-Raytheon Systems Co. LLC has headquarters in Fullerton, Calif., and is a major U.S. defense contractor currently working programs in support of all U.S. services, NATO and 28 international customers.
