Raytheon Names Jane P. Chappell to Lead Strategic Imaging Systems

GARLAND, Texas, June 3, 2005 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company has promoted Jane P. Chappell to vice president of the Strategic Imaging Systems product line for its Intelligence and Information Systems business. In her new position, Chappell is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the unit, including business growth and execution of programs, many of them classified.

Most recently, Chappell served as the business development lead for Strategic Imaging Systems. She held positions with increasing responsibility in engineering management including a role as an engineering Fellow.

"Jane brings tremendous energy and drive to this position with her skills and competencies in capture management, project management, systems engineering, proposal generation and new business strategies," said Michael D. Keebaugh, president of Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems.

Chappell, a 22-year veteran of Raytheon, joined the company directly after graduating from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and computer science.
