Raytheon Names T.W. Scott Chief Information Officer of Intelligence and Information Systems Business

GARLAND, Texas, June 7, 2005 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company has named T.W. Scott chief information officer for its Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) business.

Scott will be responsible for all aspects of information technology, including development, direction and implementation of business-wide information solutions. Additionally, he will provide oversight and technical direction in the areas of information technologies and services.

"He is a proven leader in developing internal and external solutions in customer-focused businesses to increase efficiency and overall competitiveness. Scott most recently served as director of Sector Business Operations for the Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems unit where he was responsible for overall strategic, management and business operations. Earlier in his career, Scott was the CIO of the Northrop Grumman electronics sector. He also held senior-level positions at Westinghouse Communications, MTI Group and CommTech Management.

Scott holds a bachelor of science degree in information systems management from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
